ARCAM Launches First AV Models in Radia Series

ARCAM takes Radia Series performance into home cinema with three AV amplifiers, a 16-channel processor, and two power amplifiers

ARCAM has announced the first AV products in its Radia Series. The new line-up features three Audio Video Amplifiers (AVA) – the AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35 – the 16-channel Audio Video Processor, AVP45, and two power amplifiers, the PA4 and PA9

Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the Cambridge maker has a long history in AV innovation, from the Delta 150 Nicam tuner in 1990 and 1995’s Xeta 1 – the world’s first audiophile AV amp – to more recent multi-award-winning AVRs.

The new Radia AV models combine the Radia Series’ distinctive industrial design with the power and control expected of ARCAM AV equipment. Black casework, yellow accents, and high-resolution 6.5” colour displays give each model a bold, confident presence, while the ARCAM Radia App makes setup, presets, and streaming straightforward. All models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, with the AVA25, AVA35, and AVP45 also supporting Auro-3D. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast, HDMI (including HDMI eARC), and high-resolution streaming via Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect. All handle up to 24-bit / 192kHz audio and are Roon Ready.

The AVA15, AVA25, AVA35 and AVP45 support Dirac Live Active Room Treatment (ART) - alongside Dirac Live Room Correction and Dirac Live Bass Control - enabling advanced system-wide optimisation that goes beyond traditional room correction. By actively coordinating all speakers, ART improves bass control, timing, and overall clarity. Combined with ARCAM’s precision engineering, it optimises the system for the listening environment, allowing music and movies to play with their full impact.

Alongside the AV amplifiers and 16-channel processor, ARCAM has announced two Radia Series power amplifiers, scheduled to arrive shortly after the AVAs and AVP later this year. The PA4 delivers four channels of efficient Class D amplification, ideal for driving height, surround, or second‑zone speakers, while the PA9 provides nine channels of Class G power, optimised for efficiency, low distortion, and confident headroom on demand.

Radia AVAs

AVA15
Delivers twelve channels of processing for music and movies. Supports immersive setups such as 7.1.2 or 5.1.4, with flexible speaker assignment for additional subwoofers, height, or surround speakers and full Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback.

AVA25
Provides nine channels of Class AB amplification at 100W, enabling controlled performance for larger rooms or demanding speakers. Supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D, with Zone 2 output for multi-room setups and a substantial toroidal linear power supply for stable, consistent power.

AVA35
Features nine channels of Class G amplification, twice the efficiency of Class AB, giving more usable power on demand. ARCAM’s signature Class G technology delivers controlled, precise performance and consistent output across the full dynamic range. Supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D, with Matrix Channel Assignment for flexible speaker configurations and the same high-performance DAC architecture as ARCAM’s stereo systems.

Radia AV Processor

AVP45
Acts as a command centre with sixteen channels of decoding, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced. Balanced outputs provide clean signal, and Matrix Channel Assignment allows flexible speaker setups. It pairs with external amplification, including ARCAM’s PA9 Class G amplifier, and includes Zone 2 output for multi-room integration.

Radia Power Amplifiers

PA4

Provides four channels of Class D amplification from a 1U slimline chassis, designed to expand any Radia AV system. Pairs perfectly with the AVA15, AVA25, and AVA35, delivering clean, confident power to height, surround, or second‑zone speakers.

PA9

Delivers nine channels of Class G amplification, optimised for efficiency, low distortion, and confident headroom on demand. Developed to partner the AVP45 processor, the PA9 provides controlled, effortless power across all channels, enabling high-channel immersive setups to perform at their best.

‘The Radia Series has resonated with our customers for its musical excellence and superb design,’ said Scott Campbell, Director of Sales and Marketing at ARCAM. ‘We’re excited to extend those strengths into the AV category, bringing the same musical integrity to movies, TV and immersive home entertainment.’

Over the years, ARCAM’s AV products have earned a reputation for excelling with music and movies. This approach is at the heart of ARCAM’s philosophy: ‘Get the music right, and everything else follows – realistic dialogue, thrilling scores, and effects that draw you into every scene.’ The new Radia AV models continue this tradition. Whether it’s John Williams off the coast of Amity Island or Kate Bush in the Upside Down, ARCAM ensures the sound plays its part perfectly.
