SMC Custom Installation was established in 2006 by Duncan Lewis and is an independent company at the foreground of the home cinema and home automation market. We are one of a select few established companies in the Shropshire and West Midlands area to offer a true concept to completion service. This means you have our help and support from the day you walk into our showroom through to the final installation and commissioning of your system and beyond.
At SMC Custom Installations, we're more than just a nice website and a brochure. We are proud to have a large newly designed demonstration showroom in Shrewsbury, Shropshire which has been fitted out to give you a feel of what you can achieve in your own home using the latest products from industry partners such as ARCAM. Our dedicated cinema room in particular is set up to the latest Dolby Atmos and DTS:X standards, with a native 4K projector displaying onto a large fixed frame projection screen. The room also features electrically reclining cinema seating, cinema mood lighting and a full room automation solution so, you can get a true feel for what ‘real’ cinema is all about.
Our cinema design services don’t just stop at what speaker, amplifier and projector you should use. They also extend to helping you with your lighting and interior design which often includes getting a room 3D rendered prior to work commencing so you can see exactly how your room will turn out before work has even started.
