The AVR250 is the natural successor to the well-established
AVR200 five-channel receiver. Benefiting from the development groundwork
of the AVR300, the AVR250 has an entirely different platform. The most significant
difference of the new model is the addition of two extra channels for enhanced
surround sound operation.
