The Alpha 8 tuner has all the benefits of the Alpha 7 plus the added convenience of remote control, making it an ideal addition to any Arcam system.

The Alpha 8 tuner matches Arcam's other components in both sound quality and style. It has the same technical and sonic performance as the Alpha 7 tuner. In addition, its main functions may be operated by infra-red remote control.

The infra-red remote control included with the Alpha 8 tuner, allows you to select the waveband and any of the preset stations programmed into your Alpha 8, along with mono / stereo switching on FM. In addition the handset has two more groups of keys. One operates the main functions of the Arcam Alpha CD players (except the Alpha One). The second group operates all remotely controllable Arcam amplifiers.
