Unlike most amps at this price, the Alpha One uses audiophile components and techniques which we have developed over twenty years. These include a toroidal power transformer and Arcam developed VMOSFET power amplifier stages. Like all Arcam amps it can be upgraded in the future by adding a separate power amplifier.
