Following the outstanding success enjoyed by the award-winning FMJ DV27 DVD player launched in 2001, Arcam extended the platform to support DVD-Audio.  The DV27A incorporates all the features of the DV27 and adds decoding for high resolution stereo and multichannel DVD-Audio discs.  High performance Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround decoders for DVD-Video discs are also included.  The care and attention devoted to all aspects of the audio performance also ensures outstanding CD sound quality.  Whereas CD replay has nearly always been a weakness of DVD players, the DV27A achieves a sound quality that is equivalent to that obtained from a high-end stand alone CD player.

The DV27A was designed and manufactured in the UK and available in black or silver finish.

Video

• Supports both 525/60 and 625/50 progressive video, using Silicon Image “Pure Progressive” motion adaptive deinterlacer and Analog Devices 11 bit video DACs
• Class leading Zoran Vaddis 5 processor
